                                       WINTER CABIN

  Walking by the snowy road

Passing by shoppers full of load

      Snowflakes falling silently

Reaching the ground as I sighed silently

 My smile turned cold

 No stories unfold

All I could think was darkness

Not until the snow rises

    As winter turns bitter

I longed for a little bit of joy

And I started to treat myself like a toy

Looking for anything that would make me smile,

   just a bit.

     I passed by this cabin

Opening the doors with curtains in satin

‘Open this door for happiness’ it said

               And that cabin was you

Walking by the snowy road

Passing by the snow melting to toe

     Trees growing silently

        Spring sprouted when you smiled

          So I smiled.
